There are countless games in countless genres that have been ruinded by power creep because of lack of nerfs and too many buffs. I can't think of a single game that was ruined, or even harmed by having "too many nerfs", or be "too balanced". Silly video. Faux populist.

Everyone is ignoring the elephant in the room: the right-handed joystick. Probably the right-handed fighting game community is the largest community that is not catered to: 90% of the audience is right-handed yet accept left-handed sticks as a default. I remember pre-crash most people played right-handed. And in the early '80s American game makers and even independent arcade owners were accommodating to lefties and righties. No such luck when the industry gets handed over to Japan.

My dad actually had a store with those Arcade boxes with the coin system (not the honor system, the OG coin system) and I was too short and little to stand and be the height to see the screen or press buttons... but if I had a way to see the screen, I would be a Tekken player just like these guys. Here in Pakistan everyone and their mama know about fighting games and arcade scene is so fkin rich that kids that don't even know anything about the gaming culture or hell pop culture in general will be playing tekken, king of fighters etc, I am from the city sheikhupura which is the sister city of lahore, and man is the scene amazing here, I played tekken and other games and the skill level of those kids used to shock me
